DENTURE PROSTHESIS

Generally denture prosthesis branch to two as being fixed and mobile.
-Fixed denture prosthesis is bridge prosthesis where the deficient teeth are completed by using two or more teeth as supportive and crown prosthesis for the treatment of material loss, cavity, and form and localization deficiencies. Along with the developing technologic conditions prosthesis over implant are also being applied.

-Mobile prosthesis is prosthesis allowing being placed and removed by the patient applied in cases with full and partial toothlessness.

- Inlay and onlay fillings, are made of ceramics and prepared at laboratories. In case of not having sufficient amount of teeth structure to support the filling and if the tooth is not damaged as to be covered with crown then inlays and outlays are used. No cutting is performed on tooth as the known crowning and prevents material loss on tooth. Only the cavity is cleaned, no hot and cold sensitiveness is observed, and food residuals will not adhere as its surface is polished. Thus they are more hygienic.

Porcelain Laminas  Laminate Veneer porcelain laminas are porcelain leaves adhered to teeth by removing minimum layer from the front side of the teeth. These very thin leaves (0,3,- 0,5 mm) are being prepared at required color, length and form and adhered on the front side of teeth. This treatment method can be applied on patients not being content of the form of their teeth, having teeth colorization of the front part and having spaced teeth.

In this method as being different from the classic porcelain crowns a very less dentine tissue is being removed. So it is the most conservative treatment form possible. Laminate Veneer give satisfactory results by not being able to be distinguished from real teeth as being very thin, not including metal and with its light transmission features. Application of the operation is very simple and short. After adhesion removing the laminates from teeth is not possible. Thus it is very resistant to impacts.
